Nason Construction Awarded Renovation Project at Salisbury University
Manokin Hall Renovation to be Completed for Start of Fall 2010 semester
Salisbury, MD, February 25, 2010: Nason Construction was recently awarded general contracting services on the renovation of Manokin Hall at Salisbury University, part of the University System of Maryland.
Located on the Salisbury University campus, Manokin Hall is a three-story residence hall that is home to approximately 85 students on an annual basis. Renovation work will include a complete interior gut of the building, replacement of the entire MEP system, and retro-fitting the interior of the building. After the renovation is completed, Manokin Hall will be LEED Silver Certified and feature a geothermal HVAC system as well as state-of-the-art, energy efficient electrical and mechanical systems. The entire renovation is expected to be complete in time for the 2010-2011 academic year.
