Christiana Care Health System, Medical Building Expansion Newark, DE
This 122,000 s.f. in-fill and overbuild expansion, required the coordination of work in, around, and above an occupied Emergency Department (ED) and Operating Room Suites. The expansion included some of the most technically complex hospital spaces such as spine & brain surgical rooms, heart catheterization & interventional radiology labs, and work inside the Level 1 Trauma Center. This project earned Nason the 2005 National Excellence in Construction Award for Healthcare project $25 – 99 million.
