MARKETING AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

MARKETING COORDINATOR AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize and meticulously maintain client, proposal, presentation, and all other marketing files
  • Maintain up-to-date information on the website
  • Manage, with assistance from project teams, the scheduling of project photographs
  • Receive, respond, organize, and compile all materials needed for project proposals in a timely manner
  • Manage proposal development, layout, and design
  • Manage the design and layout and produce project profile sheets and marketing collateral; ensure that all marketing materials are current and have no spelling / grammatical errors
  • Create customized presentations and support materials for potential client interviews
  • Work with CEO and utilize the AIA software to fill out and produce owner contracts
  • Work with estimating team to put final budgets and bids into proposal format
  • Work with CEO to maintain business development spread sheets, communication and meetings
  • Work with appropriate other departments within the company to gather quarterly updates and produce the company newsletter which is distributed company wide
  • Maintain all company branding to ensure it is uniform on all company documents (i.e., letter head, company forms, email, signatures, logos, Microsoft Teams Backgrounds, etc.)
  • Work with CEO and Senior Project Manger to organize all processes and procedures for operational Manuel - Ongoing effort
  • Work with CEO to manage operations tracking sheet on a weekly basis to assist in making sure all projects are meeting their desired outcomes
  • Other items as needed by the company that fit within this role

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication skills a must
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams and Microsoft Publisher
  • Must be a positive, team player with excellent multi-tasking skills.

Project Engineer

Overview:

We are looking for a responsible, self-motivated, highly organized and efficient Project Engineer who will assist in running, administering, and organizing all project activities from bidding to completion of projects in cooperation with the construction team. This person will fill an administrative role throughout the life of the project and will have the chance to grow with the company. The major duties, tasks, and responsibilities usually carried out by project engineers are shown below:

 

  • Provide administrative assistance on projects from estimating to completion
  • Communicate with subcontractors during the bidding process regarding updates to documents from potential clients and submission dates to ensure coverage in all necessary divisions.
  • Keep records of all information related to the project for documentation, clarification and presentation to the estimating team
  • Compile all submissions from subcontractors during bidding process to be reviewed by estimating team, manage subcontractor compliance, and issue commitments/subcontracts upon award
  • Assist estimating team in the completion of bidding packages/proposals for submission to clients
  • Assist during the transition from estimating department to construction department after project award and obtaining any necessary permits
  • Assist PMs in completion of buy outs and track all submittals
  • Assist PMs in receiving and disseminating communications during the project’s duration, including change requests and change orders
  • Assist PMs in completing close outs of projects including logging and tracking punch list items
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining reports, meeting minutes, project schedules, budgets, contracts, and scheduling meetings
  • Assist with project permitting – all encompassing.
  • Complete office administrative items as needed
  • Other projects as required by Sr. Management, project team, or accounting department

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in cooperating with multiple managers
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office and an ability to pick up on new software programs

Superintendent

Nason Construction, Inc., a quality construction management, design-build and general contracting corporation is seeking an experienced commercial Superintendent.

Superintendent Responsibilities:

  • Participate in pre-construction start up meetings and help establish a strategy for successful completion of each project assigned.
  • Thoroughly review all project documentation, prior to the start of construction, and incorporate the entire scope of services into the project schedule, logistic plans, and all other associated preconstruction planning efforts.
  • Ensure that all company policies are implemented consistently and fully on-site.
  • Safety Policy compliance as directed by Nason Construction Safety Manual.
  • Obtain and Review and all subcontractor insurance certification and assure that all subcontractor on site are working under an approved insurance certificate.
  • Oversee and train Assistant Superintendents, foremen and other project personnel as well as participating in training to advance personal knowledge and supervisory skills.
  • The Project Superintendent must complete and/or maintain quality, accurate administrative records including time sheets, daily construction reports, incident reports, material slips, EWO’s, T&M subcontractor slips, and expense reimbursement.
  • Notify and meet with all appropriate jurisdictional authorities prior to the start of construction.
  • Plan, order, and setup jobsite trailer and security, phone service, sanitary facilities.
  • Obtain and maintain on site a copy of the building permit and the original approved plans.
  • Complete all necessary preconstruction planning activities and procedures including, but not limited to, subsurface inspections and identification prior to excavations (i.e. One-Call), inspection of adjacent properties, photos of existing conditions, planning and installation of a site fence and all pedestrian access ways, setup of temporary parking for subcontractors/vendors, setup of temporary utilities and rubbish removal, and the installation of all required jobsite signage.
  • Ensure the proper installation of E&S Controls and required inspections of same
  • Setup and execute all boundary survey work and line/grade controls.
  • Complete weekly safety inspection and associated report.
  • Conduct weekly “Tool Box Talk” and require subcontractors to do the same.
  • Provide proper notification to owners/tenants of any work activities that will affect them.
